I worked with the AggroXD team to take their existing UI and redesign it from scratch following a new set of branding and identity.
The eSports industry is massive, with over 380M in viewership and expected to surpass $1 billion over the next two years. Currently, streamers are constrained to broadcasting and engaging with viewers on a single platform and are required to utilize several 3rd-party platforms in order to sell merchandise, network, and stream.
This project all started in the form of research. From there, it went into prototyping and design. The process, in a nutshell, is summarized below.
The old UI design felt dated, clunky, and overall wasn’t very delightful. It was crowded and didn’t follow any sort of system. Below are a few screens what it looked like.

I defined an overview of the site’s navigation. This was meant to be high-level; its purpose was to quickly get an idea of how the platform would be structured.

The client already had defined a color scheme and branding style, and so I utilized it to build out UI components and elements.
